Join The Sea Wych Salem and Heather from Lunar Wings, Mystic Roots for a fun and interactive session designed to introduce participants to the art of reading both Tarot and Oracle cards! This workshop covers the basics, including how to connect with the cards, and interpret messages intuitively. Through hands-on exercises and guided practice, attendees will explore the structured symbolism of Tarot alongside the free-flowing wisdom of Oracle decks, learning how to use both for personal insight, guidance, and inspiration. Participants will gain confidence in reading single-card pulls, simple spreads, and combining Tarot and Oracle for deeper messages.This class is designed to foster relaxation, community, and self-reflection. Heather brings her 20 year experience as a teacher to help break down Tarot & Oracle to help you develop your own intuitive skills. Heather is excited to begin her journey as a tarot teacher and guide, looking forward to learning and growing with all of you.
You will:
- Participate in a brief overview of the origins and evolution of tarot, focusing on the symbolism in the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck with particular focus on the Major Arcana.
- Discover how some of the unique imagery in the cards can support journeys of self-discovery and a deeper understanding of life’s cycles and challenges.
- View various artistic interpretations of the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck to expand appreciation for tarot's symbolic depth.
- Engage in Tarot Bingo, a fun, interactive way to engage with the Major Arcana cards.
- Draw a personal tarot card and reflect on its meaning, to empower you on your journey of self-discovery. If you feel comfortable, we will invite group feedback to foster community insight.
- Course admission is $80 pp (and a $2 processing fee). Admission includes the instruction listed above and:
* Course handout/workbook with quick reference pages for the major and minor arcana, including colour, symbol, and numerological correspondences.
* A reference guide and workbook for the Rider-Waite-Smith Major Arcana and their meanings.
* A full colour, glossy sticker sheet with all Major Arcana and elemental symbols represented.
* A full colour printout of the Rider-Waite-Smith Major Arcana cards.
* A QR code sheet to easily look up and reference all aspects of the Tarot cards.
Please bring a Tarot and/or Oracle deck (if you have one, although it is not required!)*, notebook, and a pen. No prior tarot experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to explore!
