At Prerelease events, you will use a Prerelease Pack to build a deck and explore the new set in a casual, party-like experience.
As a special feature of the Tarkir: Dragonstorm Prerelease events, you will align with your favorite clan of Tarkir by choosing one of five factionalized Prerelease Kits.
Prerelease is a celebration: it's your first opportunity to connect with the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. You will open a Prerelease Pack, build a 40-card Sealed deck, and try out the set for the first time in a casual tournament.
Each person will receive a Prerelease kit that includes 6 Play Booster Packs, a spin-down life counter, and a foil pre-release card. You will have 40 minutes to craft a 40 card deck from your play boosters (we provide basic lands.)
Play three rounds, where you will get to play all rounds regardless of performance winners of the second and third round will receive a Play booster pack.
Prize pool is 2 packs per person less the packs awarded 2nd 3rd round.
