About this Event
Tarinankertojat - Finnish K-5 Language Class (5-8 years)
~ Class description: The students in this group advance their Finnish language skills, and gain an understanding of Finnish culture through arts and crafts, games, activities, stories and conversations. They also learn some basic skills when it comes to writing and reading. The students get positive experiences in a fun, playful and encouraging environment.
The class works as a complement to Finnish as a home language and the child should understand Finnish upon enrollment.
Class will meet twice a month, generally every other week, 9 times in the fall, 10 times in the spring.
