Join Tare Market on Saturday, January 10th from 12 - 2pm for a Clothing Swap supported by LUUM Collective. Breathe new life into your pre-loved clothes and snag some hidden gems!

Here’s what’s in store at this event:

TICKETS & TIMED ENTRY
We are so grateful for the continued enthusiasm and support for the Clothing Swap. Since we first started hosting this event, it has grown immensely in popularity, which has been wonderful to see. However, as the event has expanded, it now requires a significant amount of time and resources from our Tare Market staff, along with additional outside help to ensure everything runs smoothly.

As a result, we find it necessary to introduce a small fee for participation moving forward. This change will help us maintain the quality of the event and continue offering it to the community in a sustainable way. We truly appreciate your understanding and support, and we’re excited to keep providing these events with the same level of care and dedication.

HOW TO SWAP

1. Bring up to 20 new or gently-loved clothing or accessory items that are clean and in good condition to exchange for a new-to-you item (see below accepted + not accepted list!)
2. Drop them off before or during the event (or just come shop the swap—no item donation required). See the early drop off times!
3. Take home as many items as you’ll love and use. To ensure everyone finds amazing clothes, we ask that you limit the items you take home to 1 bag. No wagons or carts allowed in the space.

ACCEPTED ITEMS

• Women’s, men’s, and kids’ clothing
• Accessories like scarves, belts, purses, and more
• Lightly worn shoes

NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS

• Undergarments and socks
• Promotional t-shirts
• Linens, towels, etc.
• Items with rips, stains, etc.

EARLY DROP OFF
To help us better manage drop-offs, vetting clothing quality and getting the swap set-up, we'll be bringing back our early drop-off option. Although this is not required, it will help decrease your wait time when you come to swap.

Early drop-off times:

• January 5th - 9th during regular store hours at Tare Market Northeast (no drop offs to Nokomis location please!)
• January 10th (day of event) from 11-11:45am

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

• Any unclaimed items will be donated to the SACA Thrift Store.
• You do not need to donate in order to participate in the swap, however, a ticket is required for entry. Please visit our website to purchase.
• Early drop-off is also not required, but will speed up your entry time so you do not have to wait to 'check in' at your time-slot.
