Be welcomed onto Wai o Turi Marae and then travel to the Baker’s farm to view the places where the Puhi Ariki (Chieftaness) Rua-pū-tahanga spent her early life.A bus will depart Ngāmotu/New Plymouth at 11:00am sharp from outside Puke Ariki Library in Ariki Street and return by approximately 4:30pm. The bus is free, although koha is appreciated. You can reserve a seat on the bus when registering for the event through Humanitix.
Alternatively, meet at Wai o Turi marae, 250 Pilot Station Rd, Pātea, at 1:30pm.
