Gabby Petito's story made national headlines as the world looked for her, praying she was still alive. Join us for a powerful and inspiring event as we host Tara Petito, mother of Gabby Petito, for a powerful talk and Q&A on domestic violence prevention and the inspiring work of the Gabby Petito Foundation. Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention is GFWC’s signature program and this presentation is part of GFWC’s International Day of Service. In her memory, the Foundation is helping survivors find safety, hope, and healing. At this event, Tara will share Gabby’s story and introduce the “Hope Boxes” initiative—providing essential comfort items for survivors of domestic violence and their children.
Refreshments and a light lunch will follow the program. This event is part of the GFWC International Day of Service. Let’s come together as a community to raise awareness, support survivors, and honor Gabby’s legacy. Volunteers are needed for setup, food, and cleanup.
