Wellington kayakers have been a long time part of the annual south coast clean up. We help out by giving Taputeranga Island a clean up and we bring any rubbish we find back to shore in bags where it's collected as part of the wider beach clean up.Come along and hopefully we'll have a lovely sunny day. The water can be cold so bring enough clothing to stay comfortable should you get a bit wet. We'll have some rubbish bags and gloves. Expect it to take a couple of hours - we'll want to bring the bags back to shore before 11am to get them picked up.
