About this Event

Tapestry Weaving with Natural Fibers:

In this workshop, participants will learn how to weave on simple frame looms. It's easy, fun, and stress-free—no need to worry about making mistakes.

Participants will be introduced to a variety of natural fibers, including wool, cotton, linen, paper yarn, and fabric yarn. You'll explore techniques to create tapestries, making abstract designs or free-form images.

$16 for Non-Members, $10 for QBG Members. All materials included, and no prior experience is required. Participants will take home a completed woven art work.

Teaching artist bio:

Lin Qiqing(pronounced Chi-Ching) is a textile artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She is a teaching artist with Intertwine Arts and holds an MFA in Textiles from Parsons School of Design.
