Step back into the world of retro media at Tape Mania! Hosted by VHS Detroit, this unique event offers an exciting blend of nostalgia, entertainment, and rare media finds. Join us at the Planet Ant Theatre for an unforgettable day celebrating all things vintage.
What to Expect:
- 3:00 p.m. - Retro Media Market: Discover a curated selection of retro media treasures from local and special out-of-town vendors. Whether you’re a VHS enthusiast or a fan of nostalgic memorabilia, this market has something for every collector.
- Also featuring screenings of local filmmakers trailers as well as visual performance art throughout.
- Plus, meet the legendary B-movie action star Suzy Winters, available for photos and autographs!
- 8:00 p.m. - Tapes Only Show: Don’t miss our iconic Tapes Only screening, featuring a special panel discussion with Lenora from Lenora’s Midnight Rental in Cleveland.
- Afterparty at Ghost Light Bar: Cap off the evening with a live performance by local synthwave sensation Phaserland. Join us for music, mingling, and retro vibes!
- The entire night to be hosted by some nutjob named JON CARNAGE!
