About this Event
Experience Level: All Levels
Recommended For: Actors, dancers, and performers of any background who want to build rhythm, coordination, musicality, and confidence through tap. No tap shoes required.
Join our 4-Week Tap Class, a welcoming and energizing introduction to tap that meets you exactly where you are, whether you’re brand new to dance or returning to movement after time away.
This class focuses on rhythm, timing, and musicality while keeping the environment accessible and supportive. You’ll explore foundational tap steps, build short combinations, and learn how tap can strengthen your overall performance skills, including coordination, stamina, and expressive storytelling through movement.
Tap is an incredible tool for performers of all disciplines, sharpening your sense of timing and physical awareness while offering a joyful, full-body workout. Tap shoes are optional. Sneakers or hard-soled shoes are welcome.
Structure
Each week builds on the last, introducing new steps and rhythms while reinforcing fundamentals. Classes include a warm-up, technique breakdown, rhythm exercises, and short combinations designed to help you grow steadily and confidently over the four weeks.
