Traditional Jazz of the highest order when this band gets together.
Australian clarinetist Chris Tanner, former member of the esteemed groups The Hoodangers, his own Virus as well as legendary drummer Allan Brownes band is nowadays an integral part of the Scandinavian scene and one of the torchbearers of jazz clarinet traditions. His showmanship is unique and we can expect a few vocal features as well.
Trumpeter Bjorn Ingelstam is steeped in the school of Louis Armstrong and Roy Eldridge and has been active touring all around the world with his own groups as well as a featured soloist for the last 15 years.
The night will consist of New Orleans music and songs from the Swing era with some of the most exciting musicians Copenhagen has to offer.
