TANI TABBAL
Tani Tabbal began playing drums professionally as a teen, performing with Oscar Brown Jr., Phil Cohran, and Sun Ra.
Tabbal has recorded, performed and toured with a wide range of musicians, including Roscoe Mitchell, David Murray, Geri Allen, Cassandra Wilson, James Carter, Karl Berger, Dewey Redman, David 'Fathead' Newman, Evan Parker, Anthony Braxton, Douglas Ewart, Oliver Lake, Muhal Richard Abrams, Henry Threadgill, Richard Davis, Leroy Jenkins, Milt Jackson, and Jackie McLean.
Tani Tabbal is known as a dynamic, lyrical and energetic drummer. As a recording artist, he is on over 70 cd’s and has released seven cd's as a bandleader: ‘Before Time After’, ‘Wizards’, ‘Mixed Motion’, ‘Triptych’, ‘Opposite Edge’, ’Now Then’ (Tao Forms), and ‘Intentional’ (Mahakala Music).

PEYTON PLENINGER
Peyton Pleninger is an emerging tenor saxophonist, improviser, bandleader and conceptualist, forging a personal path that challenges the boundaries of what it means to be a musician. Pleninger’s experience involves a variety of disciplines centered around music. Pleninger worked as a mentee of Milford Graves, from 2019 until Graves’ passing in early 2021, assisting daily in multi-disciplinary efforts.
ADAM SIEGEL
Adam Siegel is an alto saxophonist with over a decade of experience as a jazz improviser. He graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Adam has shared the stage with such greats as Michael Bisio, Pete Seeger and Anwar Marshall. In addition to leading his own groups, the Whisper Trio and the Adam Siegel Quartet, Adam has been a member of the Tani Tabbal Trio and Quartet since 2015.
MICHAEL BISO
Bassist / improviser / composer Michael Bisio has been called a poet, a wonder and one of the most virtuosic and imaginative performers on the double bass. With over 140 recordings, more than two dozen as leader or co leader, Michael continues to grow and live in the tradition - "The tradition is to move the tradition forward". Michael has been a member of the Tani Tabbal Trio and Quartet since 2016.
