Tangy and Sweet Lemon Cheesecake Crescent RollsIngredients:
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)
1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of the lemon cheesecake mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Place the filled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake: If desired, brush the tops of the crescent rolls with melted butter for a golden finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
Serve: Remove the crescent rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy these tangy and sweet treats warm.
