Tango workshops with Samantha Dispari and Santiago Fina

We are very pleased to announce that once again, we will be running some fantastic tango workshops over two days, (Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April) with the amazing Samantha Dispari and Santiago Fina.
There will be two workshops each day, as well as a Milonga on the Saturday evening. This is a great opportunity to learn from these tango maestros so we expect these weekend events to fill quickly; please register your interest asap to [email protected] and please share to your tango friends - the more the merrier!
WORKSHOP PROGRAM:
SATURDAY
Workshop 1:
11.30 to 1.00 – Tango: Sacadas and barridas, with different rhythms. In line of dance.
1.00 to 2.00 – Lunch - please bring a packed lunch
Workshop 2:
2.00 to 3.30 – Milonga: Basic in reverse. Playing together with double beat and linear turns in traspié.
7.00 to 10.00 – MILONGA
SUNDAY
Workshop 3:
1.30 to 3.00 – Tango: Musical embellishments for leaders and followers.
3.00 to 3.30 – Break
Workshop 4:
3.30 to 5.00 – Tango: Turns in melody for leaders, calesita for followers, rhythmic combinations.
HOW TO BOOK:
Costs are £100 p/p for the whole weekend. To attend the milonga only, the cost is £15. If you attend all four workshops, the milonga is just £10 p/p.

WHERE:
The workshops and milonga will be held in St Saviour’s Church Hall, Westcliff-on-Sea SS0 8LL. Please note the hall is situated in Chadwick Road, next to the church. Parking is available in surrounding streets.
PRIVATE LESSONS:
Samantha and Santiago are available for private lessons on Monday (14th) and Tuesday (15th) as well as having one or two slots on the weekend of the workshops. Please contact us for further info.
