7:00–8:00 PM – Pre-Milonga Workshop: Improvisation
Unlock new ways to interpret the music and create in the moment! Explore expression through body movement and deep partner connection, with a focus on musicality, creativity, and communication.
8:00 PM–Midnight – Milonga Viva with Special Guest DJ Sarah Bella
Sarah Bella is an emerging DJ whose roots in New York City and current home in Denver shape her distinctive musical voice. With a deep love for Tango and Tango Nuevo cultivated over the past nine years, Sarah has honed her craft playing at a range of events, including Denver Does Tango festival weekend, Tango Futuro, Elks Lodge Milonga, and Hot Night Fusion.
Sarah’s DJing style is deeply rooted and inspired by tango’s golden age, drawing inspiration from the timeless orchestras like Di Sarli, D’Arienzo, Troilo, and Pugliese. By honoring and staying attentive to the energy of the room, Sarah creates an atmosphere where dancers can fully immerse themselves through interweaving rhythmic, playful tandas, with pieces that invite deeper connection.

Explore the balance between technical precision and artistic flair. Followers will learn how to bring grace, power, and personality to their movement without losing structure or connection.
2:15–3:15 PM – Workshop #2: Unlocking Creative Expression in Tango
An advanced workshop on improvisation principles—learn how to break free from memorized sequences while maintaining connection, clarity, and musicality.
3:30–4:30 PM – Workshop #3: Lápiz & Enrosque (Part 1)
Start from the foundations to master the technique, posture, and timing behind these iconic movements, with a focus on clarity, control, and precision.

7:00–11:00 PM – Saturday Night Small Milonga with DJ Herrington
Held in the cozy secondary studio space. Bonus: The main studio will host a Ballroom Party—feel free to check it out!

1:30–2:30 PM – Workshop #6: Faster & Slower Boleos
Discover how to shape your boleos to fit the music. Learn to control speed and energy for both fluid and sharp execution while staying connected and musical.
