This is an invitation to Tango in Fridhem 2025 !A late summer Tango retreat in a magic location, just 6 km south of Visby - Gotland on the beach looking over Högklint.
The weekend will be filled with workshops, milongas and good food, there will also be free time to spend on the beautiful beach or seeing some of the nearby places on the island.
This retreat is for you that dance comfortably in your role/s – intermediate and advanced (minimum 2 years of dancing Tango). Leaders, followers and double role dancers are all welcome. We will be up to 40 participants.
All classes are held in English by Katrin Urwitz & Jorge Frias and some of them in collaboration with Malin Backström.
In the mornings we offer you sessions of somatic movement that are given by Annika Pahlén, to relax tensions and move into our body.
Before lunch we will work with individual and couple technique, basic movement and conditioning of the body.
In the afternoon we will explore connection in the couple sequences and musicality.
At night ….. Milonga !
