Aimed at professional and amateur musicians, who are interested in developing their knowledge in the field of TANGO and the various FOLKLORIC genres of the Argentinian music. Open to all musical instruments and levels.
Depending on the number of people interested, several groups will be assembled (from 2 to 5 people) to work specific repertoire that will be agreed and previously worked by the teacher according to the interests and level of the participants. At the same time, a specific repertoire will be worked in Orquesta Típicia formation that integrate all students.
During the classes days, different work blocks of theoretical-practical classes and open trials are proposed for all enrolled students.
The theoretical-practical modules will be :
-TECHNICAL ELEMENTS OF TANGO LANGUAGE
-PLAYING WITHOUT SCORE approach to improvisation applied to the genre
-TECHNICAL ELEMENTS OF THE LANGUAGE OF FOLKLORE
The repertoire of the Ensembles will be from 2 to 4 pieces depending on the number of participants. Students may make repertoire proposals, otherwise they will be presented with alternatives depending on their interests and levels.
The repertoire of the Orquesta Típica will be determined by the teacher, consisting of 4 to 6 pieces between classics of different styles and new compositions.
The possibility of working with different Ensembles and the Orquesta Típicia will allow different approaches and a greater musical diversity from the repertoire proposals. The rehearsals of the Ensembles will be open to all the students interested.
The workshop will have the milonga concert on Sunday.
