About this Event
Hopkins’ Kindergarten for Families is a great opportunity to learn about strategies to prepare for your child’s kindergarten experience. During the discussion, incoming kindergarteners will have the opportunity to play with other children and possibly explore a kindergarten classroom.
Registration is required and space is limited. This event is for families who have a child enrolled in kindergarten at Tanglen Elementary for the 2025-26 school year.

Family Discussion: Getting Ready for Kindergarten
Info: Join us for a brief discussion with your school's principal and a kindergarten teacher about Tanglen's school routine. Early Childhood staff will offer kindergarten readiness strategies and activities that you can do together over the summer to prepare for the first day of school. Please note: siblings will remain with families during the discussion.
