NAU MAI, HAERE MAI KI TE TANGATA WHENUA HUI“Haere taka mua, taka muri; kaua e whai.” Be a leader, not a follower.
This whakatauki is the kaupapa of our National Tangata Whenua Hui this year, where we encourage our kaiwhakaora ngagahau kaiwhakaora ngagahau and ākonga Māori and ākonga Māori to step courageously into the leadership space.
Tangata Whenua Hui serve as unique and valuable opportunities for kaiwhakaora ngangahau Māori to deepen their understanding of Te Ao Māori, connect with other kaiwhakaora ngangahau Māori, and enhance their cultural competence.
