Practice: 11:50a-Noon
Scoring starts at Noon SHARP. If someone is running late, they will get zeros until they show up. We will not wait for anyone.
Pattern: 2024 PBA Hardwick
Cost per person: $80.00
Entry fee breakdown: $60.00 to prize fund, $20.00 to lineage
Total prize fund of $5325.00* to be paid out.
*Based on FULL field of 72 bowlers. If we do not fill it, prize fund will be pro-rated.
CJW Distributing and T&C Lanes are adding money to the fund.
Format: 4 games of qualifying across 8 lanes, moving to the right after each game and skipping a pair.
Cut to the Top 24 for match play.
We will seed everyone into a 24-person single elimination bracket based on final standings after round 1.
2nd Round: Top 24 bowl a 2-game match, total pinfall wins the match.
3rd Round: Top 12 bowl a 2-game match, total pinfall wins the match.
(We will re-oil before the 4th round.)
4th Round: Top 6 bowl a 2-game match, total pinfall wins the match.
5th Round: Top 3 bowlers for a 2-game stepladder final. 3 vs 2, winner vs 1.
The final 3 bowlers will be seeded based on their 2-game score from round 4.
Bowlers in match play will be given two (2) shadow balls on each lane prior to scoring starting for each round. Only in the stepladder finals will the higher seed in each match draw for the pair bowled on.
If there is a tie for 24th place to get into match play, there will be a full one (1) game roll off for that spot.
If there are any ties during match play, those will be decided with a 9th/10th frame roll off.
Tournament Director has final say on all rulings.
