Join us on a trip to St. Pete for a day of exploring! One highlight: original Audubon paintings and artifacts, some of which have never before been displayed publicly.Start the day with a private boat tour of Tampa Bay, floating by an island bird sanctuary and helping with citizen science by sampling the waters for animals. Then, visit the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center, with more up close looks at the native plants and animals that call the Tampa Bay home. You'll have time to walk the newly remodeled St. Pete Pier to enjoy lunch or visit the food trucks at the nearby farmer's market. In the afternoon, a docent will lead small groups through the wildlife gallery at the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art. To end the day, view rare Audubon artifacts and 40 original prints, as well as an exhibition of Ansel Adams photographs, at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg.
