The shadow self is comprised of our subconscious, our hidden thoughts and desires, and our self-criticisms. Facing this shadow self can be uncomfortable and sometimes painful. Because we tend to avoid pain, many of us see our shadow self as dark and intimidating. However, this is simply fear talking, as the shadow self possesses valuable knowledge, instincts, and a drive for self-improvement. The shadow helps us find harmony and balance.Both shamans and counsellors work towards forming an alliance with the shadow, understanding that it can be our greatest ally rather than an enemy.
Your host, experienced in both counselling and shamanism, will expertly guide you through a day of self-discovery and direction-finding. The day will include deep breathing exercises, guided journeys, deeper soul retrieval, creative play, and much more to help you connect with and tame your shadow self.
This workshop is 9 – 3pm. Cost £185pp light lunch included
