About this Event
We are a tamari soy sauce manufacturer established in Japan in 1804. Then we came to the United States in 1978. Since then, we have been making soy sauce at our factory here in Richmond, Virginia, and our products are sold in 18,000 supermarkets across the United States.
This is our annual open house of this factory. If you are interested in fermentation, please come and visit us. You will not only be able to see our soy sauce factory but also experience and learn a lot about fermentation.
On this day, there will be lectures, workshops, and a BBQ with fermented foods. It is all about fermentation. I recognize that this is a very niche subject, but that's why it's something you can't experience anywhere else.
In addition, for the first time this year, something new has been planned.
Kojicon, America's hottest online conference on Fermentation, will be hosting its first In-person program here at our Openhouse. To our very great pleasure, Rich Shih, author of Koji Alchemy, will also be there!
