About this Event
Join James Beard and IACP award-winning author, acclaimed food writer, and Vogue contributing editor Tamar Adler for a talk with Bon Appétit Restaurant Editor, Elazar Zontag, and a demo tied to her new book, The Everlasting Meal Cookbook: Leftovers A-Z.
Tamar will share her personal cooking philosophy informed by years of cooking at acclaimed restaurants like Chez Panisse and Prune, and will also demonstrate clever recipes and tips for reimagining any leftovers you might have at home, from stale bread to almost empty peanut butter jars and much more.
The Everlasting Meal Cookbook: Leftovers A-Z is an encyclopedia of leftovers, organized by leftover ingredient (Apple skins, applesauce, banana peels, carrot tops, Dorito dust, cooked farro, gorgonzola, crumbled…etc.) with thousands of ideas for what to do with them.
Tickets include a special tasting prepared by Tamar during the event.
