Join us in the kitchen for Hispanic Heritage Month for a delicious, hands-on tamale making experience! On Wednesday, October 9, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, Chef Norma will guide us in a tamale demo where you’ll learn the secrets to crafting authentic tamales from start to finish. Chef Norma, owner of El Gusto, will take you step-by-step as you make your masa, then fill and fold your own tamales. Each participant will make a total of 10 tamales. We’ll enjoy 4 fresh tamales during class, and you’ll take 6 home to cook later using the skills you learned.
We’ll provide all the ingredients and guidance, and you’ll bring your appetite! Come celebrate culture, enjoy this iconic and delicious meal.
