About this Event
Talwiinder is an experimentalist in Punjabi music with an ever-growing fan base across India, Pakistan, and the diaspora. He started in 2018 and has big hits including "Khayaal", "Dhundhala", "Pal Pal", "Wishes", and "Haseen"
He maintains a deft balancing act between intimate bedroom pop and roaring, larger-than-life bangers.
He welcomes listeners to his sonic playground to showcase the soundscape from lo-fi to trap, boom bap, drill, synth-pop and electronic.
Talwinder's stage identity is one that's donned with a face paint. The intention is to present as a different character/ personality for the live audience as well as for music videos.
His iconic skull face paint and sonic signature come together to create a distinctive league of story telling and expression through his art.
This event will be an interview hosted by the Oxford Majlis and the 1928 Institute, followed by open questions from the audience. Please note this event will be recorded.
