Children with motor speech disorders to include CAS, Dysarthria and Oral Motor Disorders require a different approach than those with developmental speech sound disorders. Improve your skills to evaluate and correctly identify the clients disorder and then how to choose the appropriate therapy plan. Learn new techniques for working with clients who are not responding to an auditory- visual approach. Whether the client is not yet imitating speech or has a persistent sound error this program will address all levels of motor speech from imitation to conversation. Renee will be teaching tactile techniques, bridging techniques from Oral Placement Therapy to speech and a complete program to work from the sound to words.
