City Cemetery, Located between 16th and 19th Streets, Check In on 19th Street. Parking available between Donner Center and the cemetery.

Come spend an evening exploring Columbus’ historic City Cemetery at Talking Tombstones 2024! Hosted by the Bartholomew County Historical Society, and in partnership with the Columbus Parks & Recreation Department, listen to actors and reenactors share the story of some of Columbus’ most notable residents of bygone eras who were laid to rest in City Cemetery. Additionally, learn more about City Cemetery and its’ history!

NEW this year - food trucks so come hungry!

Tickets are available for purchase on Eventbrite, at the Bartholomew County Historical Society Museum at 524 Third Street, or at the gate of City Cemetery the night of May 9th. Tickets are $15.00 in advance, $20 night of, 5 and under free. Talking Tombstones is a fundraiser for the Bartholomew County Historical Society and Columbus Parks Foundation!
