Can you imagine a world where our children are taught to embrace this inevitable part of life that we call death instead of being fearful of it?When we speak to our children about death, from a very young age, they learn not to only accept death in the literal sense, but also all the ways we experience death in our everyday life. In the form of change, transition, new beginnings, etc.
In this gathering, Hailey will share about her journey facing her own fears around death and how that has helped her guide her son Cedar to know death and have a healthy relationship with it.
We often avoid this topic with our kiddos which feels safer in the moment, but in the long run it can do more harm than good.
Death is an inevitable rite of passage that all humans must face, and what a beautiful world we can create for our kids by helping them cultivate a healthy relationship with it.
This will be a conversational workshop with some guided meditation and opportunities to share and engage within the group.
Who is this workshop for? Everyone! Especially those adults that have or plan to have kids or grandkids at any point in your life. Anyone who works with kids. Anyone who wants to look at their own fears around death and how that might have been developed in childhood. Anyone wanting to change the world and our future generations by talking about death. We're all going to die. We might as well talk about it!
