Talking Teens focuses on the changes teenagers go through. It gives practical advice, such as setting boundaries and improving communication skills to help build a bond with your teen.
It covers:
· The foundations of positive parenting: providing warmth and structure
· Messages from research: the teenage brain, sleeping habits and more
· Handling difficult issues: drugs & alcohol, social media, sex, sexuality and staying safe
· Power, boundaries and problem-solving
· The programme is 4 weekly sessions, 2 hours each week
Dates as follows:
24th February 5pm -7pm
3rd March 5pm-7pm
10th March 5pm-7pm
17th March 5pm-7pm
The sessions are for all parents and carers of children at secondary school, 11 years plus.
Please note:
These sessions are for parents/carers and other adult family members only.

Tickets must be booked for each individual attending the course. If you are bringing a partner or other family member, book them a ticket too using their details. If you do not complete all necessary details, your place may not be reserved.
