Would you like to be part of a pilot parent/carer training looking at how Talking Mats can support communication with young people?

We are working with Talking Mats to pilot a parent/carer resource and are offering 6 free spaces to Parents and Carers of children and young people in Primary and secondary schools.

The training consists of 2 sessions lasting 3 hours each with participants completing a Talking Mat as part of their training. We would then be looking for a short evaluation which will inform the development of future parent/carer resources.

Session 2: 27/11/24 @ 9.30am-12.30pm (Attendees must come to both sessions)

Talking Mats is a social enterprise whose vision is to improve the lives of people with communication difficulties by increasing their capacity to think about and communicate effectively about things that matter to them. This innovative, award-winning communication tool is based on extensive research and was designed by Speech and Language Therapists.
