Talking Contest is the musical vehicle of Elaina Tardif (ex-Tender Age), Devin Welch (ex-Past Lives), Maggie Morris (Sunbathe) and Allan Wilson (ex-!!!). This Portland supergroup has crafted a unique blend of psychedelic experimental punk and droney cinematic soundscapes. Think Link Wray’s Rumble meets Sonic Youth’s Death Valley 69 on a sunbaked cassette mixtape. Their debut album is slated to drop this winter. They are joined by Public Pleasure and Strange Pilgrim.
