Leimomi Oakes is a fashion and social historian. Her focus is domestic life and women’s history in New Zealand in the late 19th and 20th century. She teaches at Toi Whakaari the New Zealand Drama School, blogs at thedreamstress.com, and designs Scroop Patterns.
