Join us for an extraordinary evening of reflection and resilience with Diné Elder Lupita McClanahan, presented in partnership with the Ute Indian Museum.
“Hozho,” or The Beauty Way, is a foundational philosophy of the Diné people, centered on harmony, balance, and living in right relationship with the world.
Raised in secrecy by traditional elders in Canyon de Chelly, Lupita was hidden to protect her family’s lineage from the boarding school system. Though eventually taken, she drew on her cultural teachings to endure and overcome unimaginable hardship.
Through storytelling and wisdom, Lupita shares her journey and offers guidance on how we can all find beauty and balance, even in difficult times.
