About this Event
Join us for a fascinating evening with the Past Overseers’ Society as they present the remarkable story of the Henry Monck tobacco box and the Overseers’ historic silver collection. These objects offer a unique glimpse into the Society’s long history, its traditions, and its role in the civic life of Westminster.
The talk will explore the origins and significance of Henry Monck’s tobacco box, how it became associated with the Past Overseers’ Society, and the symbolic value of the silver items preserved by the Society. With insights from Society members, this promises to be an evening rich in history, storytelling, and rare heritage.
