Program: The Story of crystal potential
Jessica Fink will tell the story of her journey in the gem and mineral business so far: from building her small business selling rocks and upcycled jewelry to becoming a co-organizer of the M.A.G.M.A. Land of Sky Gem Show in Swannanoa, NC.
Jessica has been collecting rocks since she was a child and started developing her hobby further when she joined the Southern Appalachian Mineral Society (SAMS) in 2016. Jessica is a lifelong learner constantly building knowledge about nature, minerals, jewelry-making, marketing, and business. She will graduate with an Associate Degree in Business Administration from A-B Tech in May of 2024.
Jessica's business, crystal potential by Asheville Gemstones LLC, provides retail minerals sourced from old collections, handmade upcycled jewelry, and online marketing services to help spread the word about local businesses.
