About the Speaker:

Nancy Loraas is an executive and leadership coach, facilitator, keynote speaker and mediator. For over 20 years, Nancy has specialized in working with senior leaders and their teams who want to reach their next level with respect to leadership and team performance. This work includes one on one coaching, team facilitation and training. Nancy’s clients span a range of industries including oil and gas, construction, financial institutions, health care, police service and private organizations.

Nancy brings her industry background and “C” suite experience to her coaching. As a communication specialist, she is often called upon for clients that want to enhance communication skills to increase performance and improve leadership. Her background in conflict management (as a mediator) makes Nancy an asset for leaders who are facing challenging team situations.

Prior to creating her own company, Nancy led the Investor Relations Teams for two of Canada’s then largest oil and gas companies before consulting to many other corporations and senior leaders. That experience combined with her work in the field of economics and financial planning add a depth to her understanding of the challenges and issues that leaders and teams face today.
