Chris Sander’s will be telling us about his experiences doing a botanical survey in the Himalayas, in Sikkim. This area of India is on the border with China, and the tension at the time Chris was there made botanical surveying more exciting than usual. Chris will illustrate his talk with superb photos of the plants and landscapes of the area. The plant in the photo is a species of rhubarb, Rheum nobile, photographed by Chris.Everyone welcome. Pay on the door, no need to book.
