Brigid and Johnny Reedy return to Indy for our annual Talk of the Town fundraiser. They come to us from the beautiful, wild, rural landscape of Montana, bringing with them a unique blend of stories, poetry, and songs that paint a unique and engaging portrait of their life and upbringing in the contemporary American West. In performance, Brigid and Johnny seamlessly weave together stories and poetry with a truly eclectic musical repertoire including innovative original material, cowboy songs, blues, jazz, Western swing, folk music, old time fiddle, Americana and more.
Though this duo has traveled widely, picking up stories, songs, and influences from everywhere they go, they are quintessentially of a place. This deep love of their Montana is the unifying thread that runs through even their most wide-ranging performances. Brigid and Johnny are looking forward to returning to Indianapolis to share their unique vision of Big Sky Country.
