TALK IT OUT: Lunch and Learn for Hope and Healing
Join us for a powerful hour of networking, connection, and conversation as we address one of the most urgent public health issues of our time—suicide prevention and support for those affected by loss.
This month’s Lunch & Learn, Talk it Out: For Hope and Healing, brings together a panel of behavioral health therapists who have either:
- Experienced the heartbreaking loss of a loved one to suicide, and/or
- Created safe spaces to help prevent death by suicide.
Our emphasis: Breaking the stigma, fostering understanding, and creating safe spaces that can reduce this growing epidemic—especially within communities where the conversation is often silenced.
According to the CDC, suicide rates among African Americans rose by nearly 20% between 2018 and 2021, with some of the most significant increases among youth and young adults. These numbers remind us that awareness, education, and open dialogue are critical.
Whether you’ve been personally impacted, work in a helping profession, or simply want to be part of a community that values mental wellness, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
💡 Let’s Talk. Let’s Listen. Let’s Heal—Together.
