Join Dr Kathryn Milligan for this in-person talk about Irish artist Estella SolomonsEstella Solomons's studio on Pearse Street placed her in the heart of Dublin, offering a meeting place for artists, writers and revolutionaries, a space to hold exhibitions, and a place to bring her etchings of the city's streets to life. Complementing the exhibition Estella Solomons: Still Moments exhibition, this talk will explore the artist's life and work through a focus on Dublin and its artistic history.
Our Tuesday Talk and Tea series of talks involve short, illustrated talks about the collection or an exhibition, followed by a discussion with the audience over a cup of tea.
Estella Solomons: Still Moments is supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under the Decade of Centenaries Programme 2012-2023
