Join us at Somerset Rural Life Museum for a fascinating talk that will explore the works of West Country artist and writer Hope Bourne, and her life living closely with the natural world on Exmoor.This talk offers a unique opportunity to discover more about Bourne’s remarkable life and creative legacy, and will feature highlights from the Hope L. Bourne Collection held in the Exmoor Society archives.
Illustrated with a selection of artworks and photographs, the talk will be given by Lisa Eden who will share some compelling stories about Hope and her life on Exmoor.

Hope Bourne (1918–2010) was a writer and artist who spent almost sixty years recording the landscape, wildlife, history and changing rural traditions of Exmoor.
Lisa Eden is an Exmoor Society Trustee who oversees the Hope L. Bourne Collection.
