Come join author and paleontologist Kallie Moore at the Montana Natural History Center for the release of her new book, Tales of the Prehistoric World!
Event Description: Kallie will describe the writing process, selecting stories, and perform a reading from the book followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase at the Montana Natural History Center. Beverages and light appetizers will be provided.
This event is free and registration is not required, but those who do register in advance will receive a copy of the book at a discounted cost. Limited copies are available and books will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.Book Description: Journey to the land before time and come face-to-face with dinosaurs that turned into gemstones, pterosaurs the size of airplanes, and the shark with a saw in its mouth! Explore the world of paleontology and learn how fossils act as time machines that help us to understand the past.
Bio: Kallie Moore is an enthusiastic paleontologist and science communicator. She is the Collections Manager, or ‘Fossil Librarian’, of the paleontology collection at the University of Montana and co-host the YouTube channel PBS Eons.
