Vermouth Voyage: A Journey Through Sherry-Inspired Flavors. Join esteemed beverage professionals Will Patton of Bresca and upcoming cocktail bar Press Club, and LP O'Brien of Netflix's Drink Masters as they guide you through a sensory journey delving into the nuances of four exquisite vermouths.
LP O'brien is a Mixologist, Entrepreneur, & TV Personality. She is a highly decorated and award-winning Afro-Boricua mixologist. Her dedication to education, innovation, and cultural integration through cocktail creations led her to establish LP Drinks. LP was famously crowned the winner of Netflix's new television series, Drink Masters, and has been recognized by DISCUS, Global Bar 100 Industry People To Know, and the Dame Hall of Fame. She is a proud co-owner of Siponey Spritz Co.™, the first B Corp-certified spirits-based canned cocktail company.
Will Patton is the Beverage Director of Hive Hospitality, the Michelin star awarded restaurant. Under his leadership, the group was recognized as a Best of Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator in 2022 and 2023, as well as being selected as a 50 Best Discovery destination. Will has also worked at a variety of renowned cocktail bars such as the Drawing Room in Chicago and Compere Lapin in New Orleans. Over the last decade, he was the American Champion of the Cointreau Margarita Challenge and has reached the National Finals of numerous other competitions including Lustau Solera Standout, Bacardi Legacy, Woodford Manhattan Experience and the Rémy Martin Bartender Talent Academy.
Steven joined Chilled Magazine as National Director of the Chilled 100 Ambassador Program where he caught the attention of The House of Lustau, a widely recognized producer of award-winning sherry wines, brandy de Jerez and sherry based-vermouths and was promptly appointed US brand ambassador for Lustau. In this role, Steven represents and executes special events, educates staff and consumers on sherry, brandy de Jerez and vermouth, activates new distribution and creates and designs menus for restaurants. Steven completed the Official Sherry Educator Course passing with honors.
