About this Event
Horror is a genre used throughout film and media to assert allegory about elements of society, whether through visual or circumstantial metaphor. The goal of this exhibition is to bring that underlying ideology to the forefront. Tales of a Modern Horror is an anthology-style display of local sculpture and mixed media artists, styled after collections of short stories and horror stories. It is divided into sections themed around different horror stories to document particular social issues that artists feel inspired by.
Tales of a Modern Horror is an individual-run project made in association with the Evil Corp Horror Maze and Bar team. It is primarily organized by Kassius Owcarek.
Unfortunately, this venue is not wheelchair accessible due to the large staircase leading into the venue. The main floor is large enough to allow for other mobility aids, and there are ambulant bathrooms (with a minor ledge to enter them).
