Come to the library on Monday, January 6th and read a story to a dog! There will be 6x 10-minute timeslots from 3-4 p.m. 2 children will be assigned to each 10-minute slot.
You'll get to meet Maverick, a 5-year old Australian shepherd. Maverick is very sweet but does get distracted, so Maverick's handler asks that kids not run around. During your 10-minute time slot, you'll take turns reading a story to Maverick! We ask that you arrive 10 minutes early to your scheduled time so that you can pick out a story prior to your reading period.
Registration is required for this activity and adults must come to the library to sign a waiver prior to the event therefore registration is only available by visiting the library and not by calling or emailing. We expect that this event will fill quickly.
