Tales for Tails --- Most Wednesdays:
(Sept 11, 18, 25, Oct 2, 9, 16, 23, and Nov 6, 13 & 20)

This program pairs trained and certified therapy dogs with children in Grades K-5 who want to practice reading aloud.
During each session, there will be 4 time slots available for kids to meet and read to a pup in the Children's Department:
6-6:10pm
6:15-6:25pm
6:30-6:40pm
6:45-6:55pm
Registration for each session opens two weeks before the session meets. Register at bit.ly/talesfortails, by calling 309.590.6155, or by visiting the Children's Services Desk at the Library and registering in person. Miss Alex will personally email those who register to assign them a time slot and introduce them to the dog they'll be meeting!
