Saskia Griffiths-Moore and the age-positive, celebrity-backed movement for songwriters over the age of 50 'Talent Is Timeless', are going on tour across the UK, and coming to Bristol Folk House on Friday 3rd of October.
This unusual tour consists of a series of afternoon songwriting workshops/meetups for all levels, followed by a headline concert of Saskia's new album 'Where Are We Heading' with support artists from the afternoon's workshop (first come first served).
The tickets can be bought either for the workshop or the concert, and there is a discount if you purchase both.
Have you always wanted to write an original song, but don’t know where to start? Join songwriter and performer Saskia Griffiths-Moore for a songwriting workshop for the over 50s that proves that you are never too old to write compelling music. From igniting sparks to writing a chorus, verse, bridge and melody you will leave the workshop with a fully written song. While being surrounded by like-minded individuals at all levels, building a community that proves talent really is timeless. There is also an opportunity to perform the song or another one of your choices as the opening act of the 'where are we heading' concert later in the evening!
'Where are we Heading' is the album launch tour headlined by Saskia Griffiths-Moore and celebrates the release of the second album in her transatlantic deal with the Susanne Marcus Collins Foundation Inc., USA. Having been featured on Sky TV, London Live, BBC Radio Scotland, Wales and regional UK play, Saskia's upbeat acoustic style music is worth the watch! www.saskiagm.com
Doors open for the workshop from 1:30pm - 3: 30 pm.
With the concert to then take place 7:00pm - 10pm.
