Taking in the View

Paint along with me as we create a typical Florida landscape of an egret overlooking a lake. We will explore various techniques utilizing the thick butterly feel of oil paints.

This painting has a very painterly feel and look which definitely distinguishes it from a photograph. Starting with a thin wash and painted thick over lean creates the look and feel of a true oil painting. Challenge yourself and have fun. Good for all levels
