For our winter concert we’re back at the lovely St Paul’s Church in Winchester.This year our winter programme of songs spans time and space. You’ll find American songwriters Cole Porter and Jackson Browne on the playlist, alongside English folk musician Kate Rusby. We have words from a creation hymn written in Milan in the fourth century, in a contemporary music setting from Glasgow. Add to the mix two carols conceived in Hampshire: the sublime Bethlehem Down by Peter Warlock and Oliver Tarney’s lustrous The Wise Men and the Star.
